I haven’t finished this video yet, but it is already an amazing thing…not just for what John Barlow says, but WHERE he is saying it and to WHOM.

Keep in mind, Cory Doctorow was invited but declined to go. This is a tremendous detriment in these events. We should be speaking out about copyright issues far more than before SOPA was passed. Now that most copyright policies can affect the internet and people’s perusal, it’s imperative that more people should take the chance to speak out.

Look at how the crowd responded to Barlow. They greatly want someone that spoke to them instead of the old guard of politicians in control of outdated media. I’m glad that Barlow had the chance to speak and show that copyright issues are greatly exaggerated when the world knows there are better ways to make money and enjoy the internet.
