Petition the ESA to drop SOPA
When hundreds of gamers demanded that the Video Game Voters Network drop their support of SOPA via their parent organization, the ESA, the response was a resounding “get lost!” The ESA responded by posting their proud support of the bill which would trample on the free speech of video games and innovation in the game industry.
You, the gamer, can do something about it. Send a message to the ESA to drop SOPA support. Tell them you will boycott E3 (ESA’s biggest money maker show) and ask your favorite gaming press and bloggers to not cover the event in protest.
The LFG has posted a petition on change.org which we will send directly to the General Counsel of the ESA. Sign here and make your voice heard!

By the looks of this, the ESA seems like it wants to go war with PIPA, which is just as bad as SOPA after looking further into it, as its weapon. Going after SOPA isn’t enough apparently, PIPA is a threat trying to go by as subtle as possible. Either way, the enemy altogether now is the ESA.
The Sing Here link is not working for me :O
Link works now just signed it, lets get 100k by the 18th to show were serious about this!

I have signed this. For all of those who are just seeing this please find as many sights against SOPA and PIPA and let them know about this. As those who use and frequent the internet we must try and stop this from happening as our rights are being trampled upon.
Signed, left a nice comment about SOPA as well.

Signed and left a blurb on how it’ll do nothing for piracy but give unwarranted power to the big companies. Give them nothing, but take from them everything.
Signed and spammed. Looks like I might make it on the first page! I never knew how massive change.org is.
Would love for it to make the first page! Need everyone’s help to vote!
Signed it. To think that the ESA was really looking out for itself when it fought Leeland Yee last year.
Signed and shared on Facebook to all to see.
The ESA needs to be replaced and i support that effort by that of League For Gamers, Outpostgamez.com support this effort and to the stopping of this unlawful, unconstitutional legislation. We have signed every petition.
Signed the petition with this message:
There are people in this world that only see numbers, who would rather see us live in a grey and bland world because that they can make money of the little entertainment and fun that is left for us to consume, that would not think twice about stripping away everything that makes the internet what it was supposed to be: Free and independent!
If the Collateral Damage of a law is restricting the freedom of expression and the wonderful creativity the internet has given us in the short time it has existed, then the law failed even before it was made.
So true!
This bill needs to go down in flames. It needs to go down so hard, that they will know that this was a bad plan. If it doesn’t… I hope there is a riot… and even though it will probably cost me… I hope it is in my town.
If i could sign it a million times I would! About time for this.
Signed, any way I can help with this, I will. It isn’t right, in any way shape or form, unfortunately I’m in the UK so I can’t write to a representative but I implore any America who hasn’t to please do so
How do I sign this?? I don’t see a button or a link for it.

I’ve signed this… I am actually wondering if anyone has talked to Sony about the ESA? Everyday, they earn money for the ESA with their Sony-donated IP titles in the double, and triple-packed PS3 games.
Signed.
Signed, and forwarded to the CEO of Escapist Magazine.
Signed, shared on several social networking sites, several phone calls made, and more.
I love my country, but who in the hell does the US Legislature think they are by trying to bully the internet. I also believe that the shitty move by the ESA was a direct slap to the face of all the gamers out there. The ESA fails to forget that we pay there damn salaries by buying games.
